Tonia's POV Long after Tonia thought I left, I lingered in the hallway, staring at my hands that suddenly felt so empty now that I was no longer holding her. The mate bond, the same thrum I had felt the night of the party, when I had seen her standing, fully drenched like a dog under a heavy thunderstorm tugged at me again.
