Tonia's POV The decision had been mine to make. Those words remained prominent in my headpace as the car sped along the stirring streets of the city. My bags were stacked nearly beside me, the ones I could carry while the others were in the trunk. I held my wooden handcrafted box that Olivia had gifted me the first week we met, all of my cherished items contained within with my palm resting on the lid, as if it might disappear if I so much as let go. It was the only thing from my past I needed an attachment to, everything else I was choosing to let go.
