Chapter 25: Play Nice with Her A week went by. Two weeks. Three weeks. Before I knew it, it was May Day. I continued to do my own thing: work, dinner alone, and reading mysteries. Springtime had come, and I was pleased. Who didn’t like the balmy sun, warm temperatures, and rainy season? No longer did the snow and cold keep me inside. I took canoe rides along the lake, walks in local parks, and bicycled a few miles a week.
