Casey's pov
I can't believe all of the things my poor mate has had to endure! He's stronger than he thinks and he deserves his birthright. I didn't think twice of what I was about to say "I Casey Bates accept you as my mate. "
I saw many emotions pass through his eyes shock,confusion and finally joy . His eyes seem to brighten up everytime he is happy but they become dull and lifeless when he's sad and depressed . Right now he was happy and his eyes were shinning with joy. I always wanted to see this look on his face .
We heard the bell ring in the distance so Luke got up to leave but I pulled him down and asked him a question.
The same question I've been meaning to ask him since I found out my mate had hidden from me .
"How come you never went for help ?"
