2 years ago I decided to leave for a while. I couldn't face going back. I needed some time to myself and to sort through my emotions. I still went away for the weekend with Luca. We spent the weekend at a cabin my parents used to take us to. It was a brilliant weekend. We spent it reminiscing on memories of our parents. On the last day, I told Luca of my plans. I didn't tell him why I wanted to leave. I just said I wanted to travel for a while. I had no commitments anywhere. As much as he pushed against the idea, he finally agreed on the condition that I always kept him in the loop of where I was and I set up sharing my location with him.
