Time to settle the score.

Aaliyah

We spent much of the last couple of days talking about the baby and what needs done. I was so glad when my mother and Marcus mother volunteered to take the reins on baby shopping. Although I did get drug along. I was glad for the distraction.

We still had a few loose ends to wrap up in ways of my adopted parents and my former Alpha. He still didn’t know I was found and we kept it that way. My new pack was let in on what was happening and they agreed to keep it all quiet about my rescue.

Speaking of rescue we had a few new members that were welcome into Crescent Moon. Alice and I have become fast friends and she even found her mate. He is one of our pack warriors and although he knows what she went through because of Magnus he still loves her fiercely. When he found out we had to have him restrained because he was going to kill that monster.

All the new pack members are fitting in great with our pack and a lot of them are even working around the pack house. Marcus’ head of kitchen staff was ready to retire. She was close to 70 and ready to enjoy her life with her entire family so he appointed Alice mom, Mary, to head of staff. She started crying when we told her it came with room and board and a nice paycheck. How long had she been a prisoner of Magnus.

“Marcus, I want to run a few ideas by you are you busy?” I asked as we stood in the kitchen after breakfast.

“Sure baby what’s up?” He asked as he pulled me over to the table and sat down pulling me into his lap.

“I want to open up a support center for women who have been abused” I told him. I was a little nervous. After meeting Alice and the others I wanted to help in anyway I could.

“I think that’s a great idea. We could offer counseling services, social services help and relocation if they feel the need.” He nodded his head as he listed off all the services we could offer.

“I also want to have a way to help anyone who has went through the hardships like all those men and women went through with Magnus.” Not only did I believe the women needed help but the men did too. The stuff they had to go through with the constant beatings and torture, I believe they could benefit too.

“Of course that is a great idea. How about we wrap up our little problem in Raising Moon pack then we can talk to the new pack members about it then announce it to the rest of the pack.” He said and I nodded in agreement.

“Now we have another matter to discuss. It’s been almost two weeks since we got back and the doctor said we can know the s*x of our pup at about seven weeks do you know what you want? Boy or girl?” I asked

“I’d honestly love a little boy first. That way he can watch over his siblings and his momma.” Marcus said kissing my forehead than my lips.

“Ok well now that that’s out the way,” I said with a smile “we need to pull everyone together and make a plan for a surprise visit to my former pack.” I said with a new conviction to me. Now that I’m pregnant we needed to get the last threat dealt with.

A few hours later

We are all sitting in Marcus office. He refused to let me sit anywhere but in his lap so he could hold me and our pup. My dad shook his head and my mom gushed. Everyone else laughed at my embarrassment.

“So how are we going to make this a surprise. Everyone is going to recognize Aaliyah.” My uncle Damian pointed out.

“Yes but I have put in a request for a meeting about Aaliyahs disappearance in hopes of lowering his guard. Aaliyah will be covered in a hood and blend in with you guys. Now that she is pregnant her scent has changed and he will not realize til it’s too late.” Marcus laid out the full plan and everyone was in agreement. Magnus was still in his cell but thanks to my dad and uncle he made a taped confession which was going to be played to the entire pack.

We found out he is the one who started The Who abomination thing and that he has know for a long time who I really was. Magnus told us he has know since the day I shifted because Magnus approached him before about his theory. They set me up. He helped make my life hell and he was going to pay.

“We had to hurry and get ready because the meeting was for this evening. Everyone wanted to be involved. Kyle and Jessica, My parents, Marcus’ parents, my aunt and Uncle, my grandma and about several dozen pack warriors. The warriors were going to wait on the border and if any problems Marcus was going to link them to attack.

We made the long journey to my old pack and I started to feel guilty cause I hadn’t called Ally and Jacob but it was for the best. We couldn’t risk Alpha Jackson finding out. I hope they aren’t mad.

“Marcus we have to let Ally and Jacob know I’m ok” I looked him in the eyes and he knew how I felt. They were the only two in my life who loved me and I couldn’t leave them in the dark.

“Ok we make a pit stop at your old cabin. I made sure they knew to stay there til I got word to them.” Marcus said with a small smile.

We entered into pack lands and went to my old home. As soon as we pulled up the front door swung open and out ran Ally and Jacob with worried expressions and I felt my stomach drop.

I feel like the worlds worst friend. Marcus opens up his door and gets out as I slide out behind him.

“Oh my god Liyah your alive. Are you ok? Did that bastard hurt you?” Ally crushed me in a big hug.

“Ok Ally you can let me breath right now. I’m fine but we have some very important things to take care of with Alpha Jackson.” I informed my best friends.

“Well than we are coming too. Something has been off with the Alpha.” Jacob said.

“Yeah there is we will explain on the way. You guys go ahead and hop in. We have more people with us for this meeting.” Marcus growled. He was understandably pissed. Alpha Jackson was in on the whole ordeal. He had to pay.

We arrived at the pack house and I quickly put up my hood. We all got out and proceeded to meet Alpha Jackson and my adopted parents.

“Alpha Vasquez I’m so glad your ok. Who are all these people? He asked curiously

“My pack. We have business to discuss.” Marcus stated coldly.

“Yes let’s talk. We have unfinished business with joining our packs and my daughter is eager to meet you.” Alpha Jackson said ignoring the anger on Marcus face.

Once we stepped inside Marcus lost it. He growled loudly when a petite redhead came running into his arms. She stepped back as Alpha Jackson twisted around ready to attack.

“Marcus this is my daughter your soon to be mate.” He tried to laugh off the tension

“I have a mate. She is more beautiful than this creature.” Marcus not playing into the other Alphas tricks.

“Yes he has a mate. I am his mate.” I announced as I removed my hood and everyone including the Alpha, beta and his wife gasp. They weren’t expecting me.

“But your gone. Magnus took you.” The Alpha stuttered more to himself.

“He did thanks to you. We have the proof and we are here to take you into custody.” Marcus said continuing to growl.

“By whose authority? This is my pack lands.” The Alpha continued to hold his air of authority til one person came forward

“Under my authority. King Juan Gutierrez and Queen Maria Gutierrez. You are under arrest for plotting to kill the royal family, kidnapping the princess, and abuse. Damien take him into custody.” My father used his royal voice.

“You can’t do this to me. I am the Alpha.”Jackson screamed. Fighting Damien and the other guards as the cuffed him with silver cuffs.

“And as King I have all right and authority to strip you of your title. Take him to the dungeon.” My father ordered and Jackson was dragged out of the pack house kicking and screaming. Now I was face to face with two people I could care less to see anymore.

“You both are here by banished from this pack. You were given a task to protect Aaliyah and you abused her for 10 years now. You will not get the same punishment as your former Alpha but we do not want to see your face around these pack lands ever again.” And with that my adopted parents were removed from the pack lands.

“Now we have one more matter to attend to. The merging of Rising Moon and Crescent Moon pack. Aaliyah you are now Alpha of Rising Moon pack.” My father announced. I hugged Marcus and he leaned down and kissed me passionately.
