“Beep... beep.... beep. Will someone turn off that god awful beeping. I’m trying to sleep here. Beep... beep... beep. What is going on. Where is it coming from?

Then I remember Aaliyah, the car accident. Omg where is she? Where is my mate. I try opening my eyes but my lids are too heavy. The beeping is getting more frantic. I hear footsteps and a door banging off a wall.

“Alpha please calm down your in the hospital. You were in an accident 3 days ago.” 3 days, I’ve been sleeping for 3 days. I try to open my eyes again and this time they open.

“Marcus thank goddess you are ok.” My mother was there and so was my father and my beta.

“Kyle where is she? Where’s Liyah?” Before he could answer my mother interrupted me.

“Umm who is Liyah? Doctor is he ok?” She sounded worried.

“Momma Liyah is my mate. We were coming to the pack for you to meet her and well I don’t remember much after that.” I confessed.

“Luna was taken by rogues Marcus. I tried to stop them but it was too late. They got away then Jessica she went into labor. I couldn’t leave my mate and my pups.” He sounded dejected.

“It’s ok old friend I understand. We will get her back.” I told him with conviction in my voice.

“I’m going to have a daughter?” My mom asked. I chuckled a bit at the excitement in her voice. She always wanted a daughter but and unforeseen accident caused my momma to become infertile.

“Yes momma I found my mate. You will have plenty of time to meet her when we get her back.” I reassured her a grateful smile on her face.

The doctor asked everyone to leave and he ran some test and gave me the all clear apparently Asher was working his healing on me while I slept. I was a little sore but it will pass. Kyle came back in and we got back down to business.

“So do we know anything about the rogues who kidnapped my mate?”

Kyle smirked. “As a matter of fact we do. We captured one yesterday and the guards are working him over for information. The only thing we got was a name. Magnus.”

I was confused for a moment. “ He used to be a member of this pack. His dad was my grandpas beta. Why would he take my mate?” I asked.

“Well while you were asleep I had the pack elders look into what we were coming her about. You Liyah shifting early and her being a pure white wolf with 2 color eyes and we may know why he took her.” Kyle said a little nervous.

“What is it I need to know.” I said with anger in my voice. Kyle bowed his head because for the first time in our friendship I let my alpha command out on him. “I’m sorry Kyle I’m just worried about my mate.” Apologizing for my behavior.

“I understand Marcus if it was Jessica I’d be the same way.” Relief washing over me

“So the pack elders thinks she is part of a prophecy dating back centuries. It’s said that a pure white wolf with one blue eye and one green eye will rise up and lead all alphas. She is known as the queen of the alphas. She has power over all wolves no matter their status and she will bare the next royal bloodline.” My jaw hit the floor like a ton of bricks. I had to sit down before I passed out.

“Liyah, my Liyah is a royal? I thought the royal family was killed off?” I asked even more confused.

“Actually we found several ppl who said the remaining royal family is in hiding.” He told me “But their whereabouts are secret because of the threat to Aaliyah. They hid her in Rising Moon Pack as protection in hopes that one day she would come back and take her place as the ruler of all lycan kind.”

“So that tale we were told as kids was about my mate?” Asking myself more than Kyle.

“Yes Marcus you are mated to the next Queen.” Kyle told me with a smile.

“We have to find her and quick Kyle her life may be in danger. If the rogues know they may try to hurt her or worse.” Now I was really worried. I needed to get out of this damned hospital and find my mate.

Just when I was ready to start yelling for the doctor to let me out he comes back in “ok Alpha your test are all good we are going to release you but you need to take it easy.” He told me with a stern look on his face

“I’ll take it easy when I find my mate.” There was no changing my mind I need to get to her and fast.

“Let’s go Kyle we got rogues to hunt down. Find out where the pack warriors are and update them. I know Liyah wanted to wait to be introduced to the pack as their new Luna but things have changed we will have to let the entire pack know their next Luna has been kidnapped.”

“Yes Alpha I am on it right now.” Kyle left my room and I hurriedly got dressed so I can meet with the elders. We are going to need everyone if we are going to bring my mate back safely.

I whispered into the room before I left “hang on baby I’m coming to get you. I won’t let them hurt you.” Please let her be ok.
