His sunshine baby

George's story

Michael went into the study and sat on his chair, he looked at George intently who was sitting in the chair before him.

"you... Uh.. Wanted to talk to me?"

George said.

"ah, yes" Michael forwarded a file towards him

"you don't think your behaviour is a concerning thing for me when I hired you for my beloved wife, whose security is a major concern of mine" Michael raised an eyebrow

"what do you mean sir, sansa has been safe with me, you know this!"

"ah, but I don't know this, look at the file nurse George, why do you visit a girl who is in coma and pay her bill, is that normal behaviour when you have no past with her"

"or do you think I should ignore your suspicious behaviour"

George went through the file his face becoming red.

"this is none of you concern!!" he shouted at Michael

"but it is naturally when you are in my employment now if you would rather not answer me I will have to dismiss you from this position and of course tell the good doctor about this"

"you cannot do this, I haven't done anything wrong with you wife"

"I know that Mr George but it doesn't mean you will not in future "

Michael remained seated while George was standing in front of his desk

"although I might add that I will not let you go before I know the reason, my men are waiting outside, if you don't give me a satisfactory answer they will torture it out of you."

George looked at him angerily wanted to punch his face but Michael just had a cold expression that said that he had no option now

He had not seen this coming.

He turned his face around

" fine, I will tell you everything "

He started speaking

" my parents died when I was 10,i had a normal happy childhood with them, I had a uncle, he was a cousin of my father who adopted me after that, everything was fine till my 13th birthday, he was single. He was strict with me, he caned me if I didn't do the chores or talked back to him but otherwise it was fine but after my thirteenth birthday he explained that he expected me to earn my keep by fulfilling my duties to him"his eyes filled with tears.

"he uhh he took my you know virginity I guess that night and he would call me to his room when ever he wanted me, it was alot for my brain and body at that time, I was too scared to tell anyone I lived with him till my 15th birthday after which I ran away and reported it after that and was placed in the orphanage from where I was adopted by the doctor "

" the girl was a neighbour of my uncle, she had a single mother who was abusive, one day after I came from school my uncle was waiting for me at the door he uhh took me in his room and was very rough and brutal with me, I was hungry and hurting too much after he was done, it was night by then so I sneaked in her room and she bandaged me, soon after that I ran away"

"I got to know after some time with the doctor that she was bought to the orphanage after I left it, she had an accident, she was there for me when I needed her so I wanted her to have me"

"my god George" Michael gasped

"that's horrible, I'm sorry for forcing you to repeat this but it was a matter of my wife's security"

"I know" George did not look at him,

"I will help you with her care, and I would like you to think of me and sansa as family now, we have no secrets, you can have tomorrow off if you want"

"what about tomorrow's shot?" George looked at him he wanted this off badly.

"I'm sure sansa will be happy to not have it" Michael half smiled

"okay" George went out.

Michael felt his heart heavy with guilt and shame for forcing a victim to repeat his experience.
