Chapter Eight Griffin Griffin O’Shea had traveled by portal since he was a child. Traveling to and from the human realm was not supposed to be a difficult task for an O’Shea. But never before had he become stuck inside one. The unfamiliar grip on his shoulder tightened as a long tunnel stretched out before him. Whispers echoed around him, beckoning him to follow. He moved slowly, as though engulfed in swamp water, the mud and muck making his movements sluggish.
