He looked at me and said in assuring voice “I am going to put someone back to their senses.”

I couldn’t understand him well but just nodded and came back to palace.

Avantika was back to her usual self and I asked her for food otherwise I would have died if not by rubina’s anger and hatred then by hunger.

I ate my food and was getting bore now, in my real world I would have been studying by now.

I asked Avantika if we can stroll in palace ground or take a tour of palace. She nodded and we went out of the room I was staying in.

The palace was magnificent I must say, it had everything, an art gallery, a big hall, beautiful garden, knight practicing ground, a big kitchen, a study, a common room and many bedrooms. Every wall in palace was crafted with one or other drawing or by a pattern. When I was tired enough to not be able to walk now, I asked Avantika to take some rest.

At that time we were in front of a room and suddenly door opened and it was his majesty king Aksha. I didn’t knew what to do and I followed Avantika. I folded my hand and bowed in front of him. He was staring at me as if going to pierce me by his eyes.

Is taking someone’s life out by looking at them legacy of this family. After a moment of constant staring, he invited me to the room he was in and I followed him and Avantika went forward leaving me behind with king.

The room was beautifully decorated and queen was sitting on the sofa at front, I folded my hands and bowed before her too. Rubina’s features matched her mother but queen was far more polite than her, she accepted my greetings with a smile and asked me to sit on the sofa in front of her and king sat beside her.

“I heard you were tired so, I asked you to come and sit here, I hope you aren’t uncomfortable.” Said the king.

“Of course not your highness”, I said in as polite tone I could say.

“the dress looks too heavy for you, do you want any other dress?” queen said in concerned voice.

“not at all your highness, it is comfortable”, I said a pure lie and smiled.

“umm actually we wanted to talk to you” said king uncomfortably.

“we were sending someone to escort you right now, when we heard your voice in front of our room” queen said.

“ yes your highness” I said in nervous tone, giving foundation test was far more comfortable then being with king and queen together.

“we have always loved our son and daughter equally and have always fulfilled their every wish, Advait turned out to be a responsible whereas on other hand Rubina is quite clumsy. But they both love each other and Advait take care of Rubina like his daughter. That day when accident occurred, it was first time Advait said something to Rubina in harsh tone also it has been 100 years that I saw him smile like that or care for anyone.”

“what he is that old but he looks like he is in his 20s.” I spoke abruptly.

Both king and queen exchanged glances and then burst out laughing.

“now I understand that why he was happy with you. In this world, we have a special kind elixir, which every person who is born here drinks up, it stops us from ageing when we reach a particular age, and it stops us from ageing to some extent and after that it is will of the person, if he would like to give up and reunite with the elements. Unlike humans we are deeply rooted to nature’s five element and are not greedy to live, we choose our own death when we think that, the youngsters are old enough to bear the responsibility of being our kind.” Said king still laughing.

“don’t worry, it is not easy to understand our world.” Continued queen.

“ok your highness” , I said still confused and laughing nervously.

Am I laughing and disgusting stock to this family. I want to go back. Mummy save me.

“so, back to the topic, I know its not in our hand but in Advait’s to let you stay or go back. But please take care of our son, he is a nice person and its second time I have seen him take care of an unknown. Also I know Rubina is harsh towards you but please don’t hate her” king said as if asking me to stay at this place forever.

“sure your highness, now if you excuse me”, I said to the king.

They nodded and queen gave me a small pouch and said it is a gift to our new mortal guest.

I thanked her and went to Avantika and retired in my bedroom.

When we reached their gates were already open, we went inside to see Rubina sitting on the chair near the bed. I was shocked is she here to complete her leftover work, I don’t want to die.

She slowly approached me and suddenly she was hugging me and sobbing …………………………..
