It was night time, Anamika was sleeping peacefully in her room, was a balcony, which was mostly open, tonight Advait was standing below the balcony looking at the room,
“what are you doing here brother?” Suddenly Rubina asked
“immersed in my thoughts.” He replied
“why don’t you tell her everything?”
“she is not ready, and I too don’t want to tell her anything, I want to start afresh”
“do you think, she will be able to accept, when she gets to know about it” Rubina asked concerned
“last time it was me who made hasty decision and destroyed everything. this time I’ll wait. I don’t want to lose her.”
“you love her, so much. That sometimes even I get jealous.”
“if she ask for my life to stay here, I will be delighted to give it to her.” He said smiling
“stop being so clingy, its unbearable”
“when you’ll be in love, then I’ll say the same thing”
“first of all there is no one who can handle my personality and….”
“yeah, afterall you have trashy personality” Advait mocked her
“don’t talk about yourself” she replied
“and I don’t think there is anyone alive to be with me”
“I hope you find your love as well”
“I hope that at least, this time you will be able to be with her, I hope I find someone, who is like you brother, caring and loyal”
“sorry no one out there is like me,”
“I’ll find, that person” she said smiling
“brother, you must tell her, if she gets to know from someone else, it might not be same, she might leave you, I know you both love each other, but don’t wait too much, she deserves to know” Rubina said and went inside.
“how, Rubina, how do I tell her, that because of me…….. I truly love you please don’t hate me Anamika, please” he desperately said and went back inside
Anamika:
When I woke up, Avantika, greeted me with a broad smile, I must say she is beautiful. Though it was unusual, she always had straight face, I guess I have made a friend. I took a bath with Avantika’s help as with strained leg everything is tiresome. After bathing and combing I sat on my bed for resting.
Advait entered the room slowly and without meeting my eyes he said, “lemme, take you to the breakfast hall.”
He started coming forward, “don’t worry Avantika will help me to go there and my leg don’t hurt now.” I said lying.
He stopped in mid way and was finally looking at me( ohh he is damn hot and handsome)
He was a perfect creation of god, I must say. I controlled the smile from coming on my face. And upon hearing her name, Avantika started approaching me.
“you aren’t heavy and I am strong enough to hold you”, he said and carrying me in his arms again.
When we were going towards hall, I could feel the servants in palace talking about us. He didn’t utter a single word and when we reached there, king, queen and Rubina were sitting and talking about something. I greeted them and they took my greetings. We ate our breakfast and then a light talk and again I was in his arms.
He was walking towards my room when “ are you free right now?” I asked
“yes, I am.” He replied.
“then can we go in garden where we were last night, I don’t want to get bore in my room.”
“sure” he said
After some time I was sitting on the chair and he was sitting opposite to me.
“I want to talk to you, promise me you won’t get offended.” I said
“I will never get offended by you.” He said and was drinking some water
“hmm, last night we kissed…………..” I wasn’t able to complete my sentence and water was out of his mouth and he was coughing badly.
“I … am…. Sorry for it” he said apologetically, still coughing in between.
I was controlling my laughter when he was looking down from shame as if he has sinned.
“actually i was saying, how many girls have you kissed yet” I asked as if demanding a answer, he was good kisser.
“only one.” He said
“hmmm” I said
“really one only, trust me.” He said assuring me.
“Anamika” I heard rubina calling me from a distance, I waved my hand.
“would you like to go to shopping with me” she asked cheerfully.
“can’t you see she has strained her leg” Advait said
“ I have no problem with it, I will go” I said (I was afraid that by mistake I don’t want him to know my thoughts)
“no not today,” he said
“but……” I tried saying something
“not now, at least, if you want to somewhere, come with me” he said
“but where?”
“you ask too many questions.” He said and picked me up, Rubina had already a carriage ready, maybe it was for shopping but now I was going with Advait.
“so where are we going?” I asked in carriage
“for relaxing, let me get you a cool down drink, your face is red suddenly” he said concerned
“no its nothing,” I said turning my face in other direction
He didn’t replied and carriage stopped in front of a shop, which looked like a café, “let me get you something”
“no, I’ll get myself” I said and was trying to get down the carriage without his help, but lost balance and fall back on the seat, Advait was trying to hold me, but he too fell with me, and when I opened my eyes, Advait was too close to me. His eyes fixed on mine, my head ran wild and suddenly he got up and said, “don’t move much, I’ll get you something, nice.” And he hurriedly went inside the shop, I cleared my head a bit, I guess I have started liking him a lot, not just because he is handsome but maybe because he is very caring.
Sometimes later he returned, with a glass full of yellowish liquid, he handed over to me and I smelled it, it was mango. I took a sip of it, and it was best thing I had tasted in my life, it was super creamy, and sweet. The sourness of mango was perfectly, mixed with sugar.
“its tasty, and what have you got?” I asked
“mine is strawberry flavoured. Would you like to try?” he asked
“sure,” and I took glass from his hand and had a sip, “wow, they both are so tasty,”
“you can sip mine too,” I offered him my glass, “no, its ok” he said shyly turning his face away
He looked so cute, that I wanted to tease him, “yeah, why would you drink it, you have all the time, to drink this heavenly drinks, with your friends and family, why would you share it with me” I said making a sad face, he took the glass from my hands and took a sip,
“now, will you take responsibility of giving a noble, sip of drink which was you already drank by you.” He said, coming closer to me, with a smile
I was a bit confused, then it stuck me what he meant, “but I also drank your drink,”
“I had not taken a sip of that yet” he said with a smile
I was flustered, and without even realising it, what had I done?
“well…..I……..you……that…..”
“drink up” he said and started drinking my drink, getting away from me.
It is not good, this person will be the reason for my heart to explode, then I quietly drank his drink, and we finally reached another destination, it was a park,
“come” he got down and held out his hand for supporting me, I held his hand tightly and carefully got down, he held my hand tightly, “don’t mind me” he said and he kept his hand on my waist for supporting me, but my heart skipped a beat. The weather was perfect for, strolling in the park.
“today’s weather is nice, so I thought it would be good for you to stroll in the park”
“yeah, that was really thoughtful of you, but why isn’t there anyone around?”
“it is not a public park, it is designed for large gatherings and seminars. It is mainly for royal family to stroll.”
“ohh ok.”
We were walking, silently, when I felt too tired to walk, “let’s sit down, I am tired” I said and he picked me up, suddenly.
“yeah, there is a bench there”
“why do you always pick me up, that to suddenly”
“ok, next time, I’ll first announce that I am going to pick you up, and then pick you up” he said putting me down on bench
“don’t bother” I said and he gave a laugh
“so do you like this place?” he asked sitting beside me.
“yeah, its beautiful and peaceful here” I replied
“then do you want to stay here forever?” he asked
“ummm…..well” I paused
“take your time” he said and diverted the topic, asked for my favourite colour and all that.
We talked for a sometime, but his question confused me, why he wants me to stay here?
Then we went to a jewelry store and he bought me a beautiful bracelet,
“but, why?”
“just like that, if you plan to return, I hope this will always make you feel nostalgic. After all you will forget everything about us when you go back.” He said
He had a smile, but his voice was pained, and I too felt an ache in my heart.
“hmm” I said, and he put that bracelet on my hand.
We got out and he then he took me to the same mountain where we went when I came here, we sat at our usual spot, now it was evening, the sun was setting and birds were returning home. I sat beside him and we were talking when I don’t know I fell asleep, while he was talking to me. Later, when I walk up, my head was on his shoulder and there was a big moon, in front of us, “its night time, why didn’t you woke me up, lets go.” I said getting up.
“wait,” he held my hand and stopped me from getting up.
“why?” ..............................................................................
