My Mistake To My Destiny

Confused feelings!!

Is this the feeling of butterflies in stomach. He was close enough, with that same grave expression. I didn’t close my eyes because I didn’t want to embarrass myself in front of a complete stranger, suddenly his hand was only my neck collar pulling it downward and it felt like he was about to burst with anger.

He saw my neck mark which formed after Rubina strangled me, Avantika had covered my neck with a neck collar which matched my dress so, it gave a feeling of jewellery only.

In a heavy and authoritative tone, he said “who did this?”

I couldn’t even look at him, I just lowered my eyes as I also didn’t want to tell him now, I could see Avantika’s pleading face in front of me.

With more grave voice he said “just look at me”

I made an eye contact with him and suddenly his face became non – readable. I couldn’t tell anymore if he was angry or sad or shocked or sorry. It was confusing and in low tone he said “it was rubina.”

“how do you know, were you born in Margposh?” I asked in great shock.

In a calm tone he said “nope, but you asked the maid about our land”

I nodded

“then what knowledge did you gain?”

Suddenly he didn’t wanted to talk about the incident, he diverted the topic.

“Nothing much she told me that there are six months and some characteristics of these months and importance of date of birth.”

“hmmmm, continue”, he said .

I told him about the months “that six months are: Chakh, jyedh, shapd, artik, margposh and maghun.”

“no, the sequence is wrong it is Chakh, Margposh, shapd, artik, jyedh and maghun. And no, I wasn’t born in margposh.”

“Then when were you born” I enquired.

He said, “I was born at midnight between chakh and margposh”

I guess he saw my confused face so he continued “I was born at exact 12 on last day of chakh and first day of margposh, I was a special child. I had both the abilities of the month and my animal characteristic is Dormaalocyon latouri. The oldest lion’s ancestor in simple language you can say, I am lion .”

“hmmmmmmm so that’s why by looking in my eyes you could tell that it was Ms. Rubina who strangled me ” I said

“yes so, now enough about me, would you like to go on a walk with me” he said in a haste.

I nodded and said “it doesn’t feel like, I have to serve you.”

I guess he didn’t heard as he didn’t replied, but muttered something.

Then we just walked on the hill, I was admiring the beauty of the place, the breeze was cool and sun shined brightly, birds were chirping and I could hear our own voices on while we talked and walked. The flowers were beautiful and it felt like i could just live my whole life in that place. It felt like I was once more at home, like I belonged here only. But after a long time, I remembered I am with Advait, who is walking beside me and I realized that he is also there, so to break the silence, I asked “ummm, I want to ask something, can I ?”

“Yeah, what is it ?”

“I know you saved my life and now I have to serve you, then does it mean, I can never go back to my world.”

He seemed serious and didn’t say anything for a moment, Then he said,

“you can, once I fully recover, then you can go back.”

“then what about my parents? They would have filed a police complaint by now”, I said in serious tone.

“don’t worry till the time you are here, everyone in your world don’t even remember you and when you will go back everything will seem normal.” He said in an assuring tone.

“hmmm, thank you.”

But I guess he didn’t wanted to talk about it as, then he didn’t spoke anything, but looked sad about something.

Then we didn’t talked anymore and he said let’s go back it was evening I guess, I was feeling hungry but didn’t said anything.

I sat in the carriage and was waiting for him to sit too. But he just stood there talking to coachman. Then the coachman shut the door, without him sitting and I asked Adavit that why isn’t he sitting………………………………..
