I had left Maddie alone, while she was pissed because I had received a damn letter from Veronica warning me that people might be on to Maddie and I already and that made me really worried. So I had to leave the house to clear my head. I left to see my best friend ever since I was a child but in order to see him I had to travel to the village where I lived while I was a child. It had changed a lot since I was there as a kid and even more since I last saw it.
I needed to talk to Tom, he always knew what to say to make me feel better since we were little and I literally had no other friend I could talk to.
