Maddie’s POV:
I really couldn’t believe I was walking . Darren pulled the most ridiculous plan anyone could have thought of, but it worked. It really worked. I stared down at my legs in awe and couldn’t believe they were standing all on their own, and they could move, they could move and I didn’t fall.
He said he did some research about fear helping with physical therapy and I remembered when he brought up me not being afraid of anything the other time he came to my room. Was it all planned?
