1 hour before the attack: Sandy's little dilemma

722 Words
She went into a state of confusion as she had left that very place. She thought about her hair-band and what could possibly be the outcome of anyone had it in sight. She tied her hair to a pony using a band she had seen in the chamber long ago. She heads out of the chambers as it was time to head for the daily routine. She hoped to stop by the lake to see if she could retrieve her hair-band on her way to the training yard. As she got there she couldn't find it. She searched a little wider as she thought it might have been a wrong perception as to where she kept it. She was sure it was there but not sure of the exact position of it's place. She kept on searching but was cut short by a scream of help just beside the lake. She ran as fast as she could to see what was going on. She reached the other end of he lake and found a woman who laid unconscious. She quickly ran to her aid. Sandy resuscitated her and picked her up to he'd over to the castle without asking what was the matter as it was already clear that she was unable to speak at the moment. On her way with the leaping lady. She heard another scream far off... This time she saw the perpetrator running off. It was unsure that it was anything that should be brought pursuant to an attack on the city. She might have thought it was just a mere attack on women by pagans or some sort of hoodlums. But it was obvious to her when she was confronted. As she had reached the castle. She saw the group of warriors robed in the Pacific attire standing right infront of the castle hitting on the door in an attempt to enter and cause havoc. She realized there had been a penetration and this was clearly an attack on the land. She was forced to be vigilant. This was her moment she thought. She retreated to a safe spot that his her from sight and laid the lady to rest by the fence. She cautioned the lady to stay calm as she drew out her sword and headed towards the castle where the intruders where gathered. As she approached she noticed that there were all unarmed. It was quite unsettling to think that this kind of attack was undeserving of swords, spears or any weapon of some sort. That's when it occurred to her that this group that were gathered were used as bait to draw out warriors to attack. She looked up and saw that archers and heavily armed warriors from the Pacific with blazing red brownish eyes were set up on the sides of the castle, climbed on balconies. And spaced behind. She had to retreat and think of the best possible way to help herself. As it seemed as if she had no other choice, the castle door was brought down and the guards engaged the assailants with a sword battle. Having drawn so much blood they were brought outside and the Pacific archers rained down arrows of tragic death on them. As it seemed like they had dominated the Royal castle. They all walked in to search for the Emperor and the prince and possibly assassinate them. As they walked in. Sandy sneaked in behind them and was nearly hit by an arrow by one of the Archers who was still positioned up a castle opposite the castle. She charges an attack from behind on the Pacific warriors that were left behind as the rest conducted a search. She succeeded to bring them to the ground. As she headed upstairs towards her chambers she looked out the window and saw that the prince was in her chambers closet. She joins him and hide as the assassins approached her chambers, kicked down the door and conducts a search. By then the prince and Sandy had already climbed down the window. The prince had climbed down first and Sandy had jumped down while the prince caught her. It was quite a long fall but sandy was believed to trust the prince so she did it anyways. Besides she had no choice, she was in danger.
