Sandy was all alone in her chambers where she sat collecting her memories to account for the bruises she had on her knees and the little scratch on her cheeks. There was a mirror in her chambers which wasn't there at first when she arrived. It seems she started getting more attention as she kept on living in the empire. Maybe words of her exploits had reached the Empire before she reached the shores. Her bed was now dressed before arrival from the sail and she had proper feeding on time. She had moreover gained her territory and a permanent place in the royal. She had arrived as a prisoner, now she was treated as an asset. This changes had her skeptical in her plans about finding a way to escape and return home.ebfore the Ecplise War. Even if it means betraying the trust of their trust. But she really had to leave. Her thoughts of her mother and her undying desire to find out where they were and why she was the only one brought here was the major drive. So she kept the faith but this time a little less. She heard a knock on the door as she was about to take off her clothes and lady Mildred had come to see her. She was excited to see the witch and her beautiful smiles. They exchanged hugs and she went further in to her chambers and Sandy went on to close the door as the witch brought a tray of potions to the chambers making her hands full. But before she could pull the door closed, her eyes met the prince's who walked past her room as he was about to go his chambers up too. He took a quick peep at Sandy's chest where her clothes stooped as she was almost undressed, he didn't know whether to smile or just wave. They had left things in a really awkward situation after the night at the cell were they bonded beyond their will. The prince had taken the fight personal and left her in the dark thinking why he never looked at her or said anything through out their sail or even at the shores where most of the warriors who made it exchanged hugs and words of encouragement. But Prince Jath left straight to his father's throne room to see him as they landed ignoring everyone else. Sandy gave him a quick smile and closed the doors. Stood for a while behind the door to collect her composure, she felt a certain way whenever her eyes met with his beautiful blue eyes. "C'mon now, let's see how much damages you had been through Sandra. So I can recommend an elixirs for you. I have to do this to every single one who came from the Pacific."... Lady Mildred said. Sandy apologized and went to sit with her. She took a proper look at her and mixed some kind of potion from her bottle. She told Sandra to pick one from the many potions she had in her tray and drink without stopping. She knew it tasted sour and she could throw up if she stopped in between. So Sandy did as she was told but almost throwing up. She was giving water to wash it down. The feeling the potion left on her throat after it had gone down left like she had swallowed alot of ice cubes. Cold and fizzy. "You will be fine, just a little bruise here and there"... She arranged her bottles in a bid to get going as she seemed in a hurry. "Hey you did great out there. Ibinabo had told me how brave and useful you were to their successful escape back home. I am sure the Emperor will truly regards you and reward you. I ll be looking forward to seeing more of the greatness you possessed in you. Open your heart to your call darling. You ll be the best. This world provides you an opportunity to be all that you crave."... Lady Mildred said, giving Sandy a genuine reason to smile. Her cheeks reddened and she gave her a departure hug and escorted to the door to help her open it. "goodbye, I will see you at the feast tonight. Oh and that might be a good time to talk to the Prince. I saw you two being young and naive. There's no time young one."... Mildred said giving her a corky smile and then she carted away her tray in a four wheeled cart. Sandy looked out the left and right of the hallway. She saw guards positioned at every end and she wished she could run down to use the lake Ibinabo had taken her sometime ago. Just as she thought of this she saw Ibinabo exchange words with the guards and one of them left with her. She tried to signal her but she didn't see her. Ibinabo seemed like she never rested, always working always vigilant and ready to attack if the situation calls for it. As she stood staring at her walk down the hall way the left. A maid came from her right and brought her dresses and told her to keep the rest as she was to choose from it a dress suitable and whichever fits her for the feast tonight. Sandy looked surprised and knew it was definitely Courtesy of the Emperor. She thanked her and went back to her room and closed her doors. The ornaments on that decorated her room had also been changed. She felt more at home but she knew there was going to be alot of controversies encircling her new found glory in the empire soon enough. So she kept in mind to maintaining a discreet profile and being extra careful. She settled in her robes. She wondered if she was to dress in her former attire for the feast tonight, the one she used with Ibinabo at the last one before the left for the sail. As she went through the dresses, She kept thinking about what lady Mildred said as the flash back of how the prince stared at her moments earlier, even at the woods at the Pacific he would catch him looking at her helplessly but he would act differently whenever she tried to be friendly with him. It hurts her that she only wanted to be friends with him and he was acting up. Maybe he had too much pride. Pride that don't make it through prison walls. He was much more than open and indulged in her company when they were locked up together. Its funny to her now that she think about it. Maybe he was like just like one of those princes she read about. Charming, naive and full of themselves. She went through her robes and found a suitable dress for tonight's feast. She decided to wear a red. It was her favorite color actually.
