The first sail

Back to the strange Waters of the sea --------------------- ....Thunder storms get frightening especially with the lightening comes, running through the sky turning night to day for a split second. The thunder clap gets got so loud that it runs through ears and causes a shock to the brain. Woe unto the ones who hope to sleep peacefully during this times. It was almost dawn, and the valiant warriors were about to set sail. All were gathered at the Training Camp, north of the Empire. Preparations were being made, Swords could be heard sharpening on iron and the potions, both magic and healing were being prepared by lady Mildred fir protection and recovery. As time kept wait for no one, a head count of the selected forty warlocks for the Sail was done by Ibinabo. She stood tall amongst the warriors and saw no reason to give them a pre sail speech or anything of such sort as she believed the king did it all a day before and she was convinced nothing would go wrong as long as they all kept to her instructions and did as she ordered. This was clearly not her first sail out of the Empire and she seems like she dominates the sea just as she would everything other thing else but when Sandy tries to compare her to Captain mardock at Sea, she couldn't stand to deny she was a dominant figure and she never really listened to Sandy talk about her past before. She always seemed unbothered and avoiding talks that would lead to explaining her existence in this realm. As the night became of it's form in total darkness, they all marched out from the training camp where the prepared in armoury and morale. They have walked through the Empire where the king and senior townsmen stood and watched from the Empires Castle above to honour the braveness of the young lads, to the seashore, where the waters begin and ends. A great ship made of wood and fine metal was already set and anchored at the shores waiting for the men to board. The ship was almost like the Georgestone marine but only that this ship was made to sail underwater and above. Sandy was amazed to see such a beautiful craft, she always wanted to board an old native ship where she could stand at the edge and watch the water bubble and swerve as the ship moved forward. But this ship was more than that, it looked like a war champion. As it's head had a sharp edge that could split even a mountain asunder and bring down anything in its way. The ship reeked of Prestige and esteem for some who never saw it. The thunder strikes and the lightening became a little more intense and some of the warriors became afraid of their own fate at sea if it eventually becomes a great thunderstorm. Sandy was most concerned about the ship and it's beautiful crafts and edges that she didn't realise she was also scared of going to sea again untill she was asked to step her foot up the mini wooden stairs that lifts one from the ground to the ship. She took her first step and was pulled up by Desmond, the Boy from the training camp. She wasn't too happy to see him but she was kind enough to say "thank you. They all boarded the ship and with cheers and drums from the kingdoms tribesmen and whistles from the children, the ship's anchor was pulled and the great ship was set to sail. As time went by, Sandy watched distance take it's course as the ship moved away from the Island further towards the cold serene sea. It was a cold dark night, it started drizzling and the fog and midst was everywhere. No one could see a thing unless it was too close or too bright. It was almost like the went on a blind sail. The coordinates to the Pacific borders were with the Ship Master, Lord Nathan. He was a strict looking man, in his prime. He was usually seen amongst the people that encircled the emperor whenever he was around. He seen around the king to often. Sandy noticed him and went ahead to join the warriors inside the ship Chambers to lay for a while. The only person left outside was Ibinabo keeping watch and breathing in and out slowly to sustain her energy. Earlier that day, Sandy woke up with a hangover. she must have had too much ale to drink last night, it tasted so good that as young as she was she couldn't stop taking it untill she was told to. It took time for her to get her up from the floor and sit on the bed. She felt a sharp pain right close to her left ears. It must have been where she hit when she fell last night. The potion should have mended that. She thought. The necklace from the Atlantic quickly came across her mind, and she wondered where she stuffed it. Suddenly from a sober countenance she became restless in thoughts as if she needed a drug to fix herself. Her plan was to escape during the sail that night and flee with the necklace in case anyone would want to stop her then she would use it as bait to call a truce and let her go. But she also wondered the possibility of her finding her way back to reality from the sea and also with the necklace without getting help from someone on the inside who knew about the Travel. Her plan was already thwarted by her own thoughts and she held herself ransom. She sat for hours waiting for the door to be unlocked, thinking of s strategy and fishing her demons to find a way out of her misery but she lost everything, every single thought was loosed and every plan she could come up with had to hang somewhere and it all points back to the fact that she needed help from the inside. She had a couple of people in mind but she had to test their loyalty to the throne before she discloses her plans or she stands to loose the Trust of the people and loose her freedom too if that may be the case. The voices, the screams, she heard it again, through seem to come from underneath the castle and she longed to find out what it was. The door clicked unlocked and Ibinabo called her out like a dog let loose from it's cage.....
