It all began when Juniper Halo remembered the lyrics to Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi. Arguably, that is what set her free. The moment she remembered the song, something feral in her awakened, and coincidentally, so did a hologram in the glitch she was stuck in.
It was the same hologram as the one that had appeared in the store to offer them a side quest when Elham was kidn*pped by a cartel.
“Would you like to go back to your last saved gameplay location, or would you like to partake a side quest?” The lady hologram asked robotically. Now that they were in a glitch and not in the actual game, there wasn’t any need to put in more effort in being realistic. Her voice sounded like a recording of Siri.
