“Everyone ready?” Elham asked, squinting against the sun and glancing around at the other players. They had gotten the space shuttle vertical, and out of the lab through the large hatch in the ceiling which opened up and led to the surface; a few meters away from the main building where takeoff would take place. The sun glared down at them; the heat almost unbearable. What little package they had, Ruby had helped Arthur stuff them in the mid deck of the crew compartment. They didn’t have to worry about traveling light, yet the hope that it’ll all be over soon made them pack very lightly. Food of course, and water were already packed in the crew cabin.
