Raziela As the guard led me through the silent eerie castle, every step felt like a bang. My palms were sweaty and each breath I took felt like I was inhaling pins. When we got to the entrance of the King’s chambers the guard pushed open the large door and stepped aside for me. For a few seconds I remained still, my eyes pleaded with him, but I wasn’t even sure what I was pleading for. The guard had an indifferent look on his face, almost like he couldn’t wait to leave and I swallowed when his scowl deepened the longer I remained unmoving.
