CHAPTER EIGHT June 29, 2010 Evening Percy’s letter announced itself to Calvin as he undressed for bed that night. The smarter course of action would have been to bury the letter under his duffel bag and protect his chances for a good night’s rest, but Calvin didn’t stand a chance against his curiosity. He managed to brush his teeth, throw off his jeans, and flop onto his mattress, all without ever letting the letter leave his hand.
