The moment I saw the news, I rushed to the Riverbed Pack. Bella and Rick were deep in conversation with their council members inside the chamber, too preoccupied to notice me slip in. It was almost laughable how easy it was to enter their territory. Every warrior assumed I was their Luna. Even the nanny, at first, didn’t question my presence. But the moment we arrived at the house, her eyes widened in horror. She knew. The color drained from her face as I stepped out of the car, and when she saw my father—the rogue leader—she fell to her knees, trembling in fear. Meanwhile, my two-year-old daughter, Selena, ran toward Edsel, and in an instant, they became inseparable, giggling as if they had known each other forever. But my younger brother, Jason, only scowled in disgust at my nephew.
