Georgina’s POV
When I saw Bella walking up the stage with Alpha King Rick and the two kids we met earlier in the garden, my heart nearly stopped. I couldn’t believe it. She’s alive.
I turned to look at my husband, Cole, and his face mirrored my shock. Envy burned inside me as Alpha King Rick introduced Bella as his wife. She’s so lucky. The Alpha King is the most handsome man at this annual meeting—powerful, wealthy, and commanding. I couldn’t fathom how she ended up with him or why they even knew each other.
After the meeting, dinner was served. The food was exquisite, but I barely tasted it. My appetite was gone, overshadowed by the whirlwind of emotions swirling in my chest. Frustration. Jealousy. Anger. I pushed the plate away and excused myself, heading toward the exit.
