Over the next few days, Cole remained unconscious in the hospital of his pack, the Blood Stone Pack. His injuries were severe, and the doctors informed us that he wouldn’t be discharged anytime soon. As for the true culprit behind the fire, we were at a complete loss. The security footage didn’t capture anything useful.
Georgina was in the hospital room, taking care of Cole, but we didn’t talk to her. We just ignored her.After ensuring Cole was under the best care possible, we chose to return home.
My heart sank slightly as I pondered the recent revelations. I hadn't expected Layla to have such a deep connection to Rick. It explained her audacity, her boldness in confronting me. Rick had asked me to give her a chance.
