Bella's POV
I asked Rick’s permission to head back to our room before him. As I made my way out, I suddenly remembered,I had left my purse in the room upstairs, the one where I had changed earlier. Deciding it was better to retrieve it now, I headed upstairs before making my way to the pack house beside the meeting hall.
When I reached the room, the door burst open with a loud crash.
I spun around, startled. “Cole? What are you doing here?” I gasped.
Before I could process what was happening, his large hands grabbed my waist, spinning me around and pressing me hard against the dressing table. My back hit the edge of the counter with a dull thud.
“Cole, stop...” I started, but before I could cry out, his hot lips crashed onto mine.
