Kyle's POV
I hated the fact that we were working by the contract when all I wanted was for everything to be real. It was also the only way she obeyed to get prepared for an event she was to attend with me as my Luna.
It's been two weeks of radio silence and somewhat invisibility. She stays away and it hurts and burns because sometimes when I go to annoy her, it's because I need her warmth, especially when I'm just back from an annoying pack meeting and need to de-stress.
I watch the way she frowns, the way her eyes widen when she glares at me, the way she challenges me and cusses back, immediately I feel better. But now I've not had that for weeks, the emotions and expressions I need. She's punishing me so badly.
