I took my position at the front with Halvor. Everyone was tense and any sounds from the surrounding wilderness put everyone on edge. The road was surrounded by dense brush, which was perfect for bandits or spies to hide in. We needed to find an open field to make camp in if possible. Periodically I focused my gift to see if there was anyone hiding up ahead. Halvor caught onto what I was doing and would glance over at me. “Anything up ahead?” He finally asked.
