The next day the entire army had arrived just outside King Bertrand’s castle in the late afternoon. Halvor and I would be staying in the castle as guests along with the warrior nobles. Rohl and Diana would be staying there too so that Rohl could organize the medical supplies with the royal physician in Jaks and make sure we had access to things on the battlefield. I realized that Eric and Ann would have to stay with the rest of the camp, which made me a little sad. Still, I suppose I could try to find time to visit her in the camp.
