“What I have told you so far, Anthony, mostly comes from my Uncle Gustavo’s diary,” the old lady now opened it.
“I assume that Carmen’s accident is omitted…”
“Exactly, some pages were torn out. The last entry is December 27, 1929, then it continues from the January 1, 1930…”
“And Carmen died on New Year’s Eve. You don’t have to be a private investigator to say that all this is suspicious that precisely those days are missing.”
“Yes, those days are vague,”
“What was that Gustavo wanted to be kept a secret?”
“I don’t know. But there is more to this, according to my father, Gustavo once told him that the missing pages aren’t lost. They can be found in a box…
