New Year’s Eve 1929Carmen and Baltasar agreed to meet under the cloud of night at the underground reservoir near the Casa Turquesa. The actress arrived short of breath.
“Couldn’t wait to see you again,” Baltasar hugged her devotedly. “Have you packed your belongings you want to carry? Where’s your luggage…?” the pilot’s words faded away.
