I had rushed out of Augustine’s office when I had realized where the discussion was headed, I knew that Augustine did not feel strongly for me, I had thought that perhaps he cared for me when he had been the one to ask for my hand in marriage but after spending time with him, I realized that he had no feelings what so ever for me but let’s just say I was way too selfish to let him go.
