Heather’s POV
I was exhausted when I returned from work, I plopped down on my bed with a loud groan, Alicia sat on her bed, she had a look of sympathy on her face.
“Long day?” she said.
“Don’t even ask” I muttered and kicked my shoes off and placed my legs on the bed.
“For what is worth, Wally told me you are great at your job and he is planning on increasing your pay” she said with a bright smile on her face.
I bolted into a sitting position and said “Really? Do you mean it?”
“I do, he called me not too long before you arrived” she said happily.
