The hot water washed over my skin. Warm droplets formed steam as I stood there without moving at all. The voices kept banging inside my head. They said the same thing, over and over again, how much clearer could it be? What was going on with my life? My skin was burning from the mellow droplets morphing into sharp little blades of fire. I pulled myself back together again and left the shower. Drying my dark brown hair, wrapped myself in a white bathrobe before stepping out of the misty shower. As soon as I got out, it was like a lightning bolt struck. Nikol was sitting on my bed with her long legs crossed. The only thought that ran through my mind was, "I'm going to die."
