Insane. The whole situation was absolutely insane.
There wasn't any way that the other shifters would be enjoying this fiasco that had happened between me, Cohen, and Atlas. The supposed holy mating season was interrupted by this misunderstanding and had led even the leaders to interfere.
I could not deny the shame eating me wholly right now. Every pair of eyes was focused on me, as if I had brought such misfortune that ruined the most awaited event for this pack.
