The retirement announcement party had messed up his mind. Not because of what happened at the party but rather because of the person with whom he went to it. He still couldn't get out of his head how attractive Adrianna looked that night. Was her hair always so long and luscious? Was she always so naturally endowed? He had never noticed her while growing up, or even after marriage. Aaargh! He shouldn't be doing this, it was wrong of him to think about someone other than Esther. Maybe this was Adrianna's plan all along, to distract him and then just plan some sneaky move.
Elton was currently in his room, simply going over everything that had occurred since the party. Adrianna had become too busy, many times coming back to the house late at night. He knew that for sure because of his mom.
