He had been worried sick the entire night. At one point, he had thought of planting himself against his door to keep an eye on Adrianna's apartment to know if her parents had left, but he hadn't allowed himself to go ahead with that. The entire night, he had kept his phone on the ringer, so that he didn't end up missing any call or message from his Anna, but the phone hadn't beeped even once. Maybe her parents had stayed overnight? But she could discreetly ping him? Not to chit chat with him but at least to let him know to not worry, or if the situation was getting out of hand?
