Adrianna groaned a bit as she tried stretching a little and opened her eyes, the dull lights around her making her squint. She had needles in her arms and legs and the mattress beneath her seemed uneven too, oddly comforting but not really comfortable. Where was she? She moved a bit, making the mattress let out some incoherent sound. It made no sense. She tried to move her neck, and damn the stiffness almost made her give up on doing anything.
