"Sam, how long have you been working with us?" Adrianna's sudden question took him by surprise. They were on their way to the Scott residence and were being delayed due to the traffic conditions.
"A few years before your birth," he responded briefly, looking into the rear view mirror before focusing on the road.
"And how long have you been married to Iris?"
"The year you were born," and he smiled fondly as if he was remembering the day of their wedding.
"Did you always know she was the one?"
"That's a tricky question. We knew and we didn't . It was a sweet confusion. We both took our own time to realise what we felt towards each other."
"Makes sense. Do you think a few months is enough time to get to know someone?"
