He had been feeling restless, guilty even for failing to help his friend, which would have in fact helped him get rid of Adrianna sooner. But it seemed that even his mom had no clue these days about Adrianna's schedule. Given her nature, he shouldn't have been suspicious but he was. It was unlike her to leave his parents in the dark. Maybe she was finally sick of pretending to be a faithful, submissive wife. After all, how long could she portray an image that was far off from her true, manipulating self?
