That was the last voice she wanted to hear, ever, she thought as she turned around, Daniel replicating her action. What the hell was Elton doing over here? And what was Esther doing with him? Was everything okay?
"Esther, hi. I hope you are... okay?" Adrianna directed her response towards Esther, not sparing a glance or acknowledging Elton.
"I... I am good, Adrianna. Came here to receive him. He was in Miami for a few days," Esther politely replied, hoping that Adrianna would at least acknowledge his presence. But again, she was being too optimistic.
