The next day after arriving in New York, I woke up early. I was able to get to sleep early, but I woke up two hours before my usual time, and I could not go back to sleep. My mind was too active and my body felt sore for spending so much time in bed. I usually was tired after a flight, especially the long ones like the one we had yesterday. But for some reason, aside from the soreness, I didn't feel tired at all. I got out of bed and pulled on my robe. There were a few messages from my family, greeting me a happy birthday.
