Rye's face turned as white as Cecille's. "Turn it on," he said, his voice eerily calm.
Cecille quickly set up the iPad on Rye's desk and turned on the volume. The image of Anna Dupont popped up on the screen. She was standing in front of a podium with a group of people behind her, cameras flashing everywhere. She looked composed and confident, almost like she had been expecting this.
"Ladies and gentlemen," she began, her voice clear and strong, "I am here to announce that I am taking over Dupont Tech." She smiled at the cameras. "As such, I have made major developments in terms of the partnerships of our company. First of all, I am glad to announce that Dupont Tech has finally acquired the Wyatt Group!"
