Emily Harper The Maserati sped from the McMillan Global to 6th avenue in under a minute. I was just glad that the traffic in the city was light and we didn't have to deal with idling cars and other obstacles. Rye and I sat in silence as we drove, His eyes were on the road and I was concentrating on my breathing. I was doing my best to not let my nerves get the best of me. I was so distracted, I didn't notice that we had stopped moving. As it turned out, it was just the traffic light. The light switched to red before we could pass the crossing. I looked out the window and we were at the corner of 6th avenue and 34th street. The city was bustling with people running back and forth, with their bags and briefcases.
