“I can’t allow myself to do that, Claire. Not when you belong to another man,” Mason argued. “I’m an honorable man and I fight fair. Doing this behind Cooper’s back was never my intention. I was selfish before with you, and believe me I want to take you right now and feel every ounce of your body around me. I just can’t do it this way.”
