With a sly grin turning up the corner of his lips, he pointed to my hands and said, “I see you handled it as well. Give me this guy’s name and we’ll run it through the system. Me and you both know what could’ve happened if she didn’t fight back.”
“Yeah, I know, which is why I want her away from here. I didn’t tell her about what Erick said because if I did it would be harder to get her to leave. If she thinks I’m in trouble she’s going to want to stay. I need her gone so I know she’s safe,” I told him.
