Three Days Later
The week went by too quickly and I regretfully counted down the days until I would be on a plane back to California. During the daytime, I showed Mason my favorite spots and even took him to the Hoover Dam. I tried to convince him to go on a helicopter ride through the Grand Canyon, but he said if we died then no one would be able to solve the case. Honestly, I think he’s just afraid of heights and didn’t want to tell me.
With that being said, we stayed on the ground. The afternoons were all tied up with his training at the gym with Tyler and his dad.
