Madeline’s POV “About The Author”  And just below those blessed bolded words,  “Julian-” *Flashback*  “Julian! You’re going to break it! Give it back-!” “Hold on Maddie, I’m trying to fix it-”  “Gimmie!” “Almost- there. Fixed!”  “Finally! Thank you thank you thank you!”  “Maddie- I need to put the eight ball down before you hug me, it might break again!” “Fine!” I pouted, expecting an exasperated response in return, but none came. Eventually, I turn back only to meet his wise eyes, pain from his parents hidden behind guarded spectacles.  “Thanks JayJay.” *End of Flashback*  “Julian Johnson” My eyes flutter against the print, the words sinking into my mind like ink seeping onto a blank page.  Julian. Johnson.  JayJay I finally have a name for the boy who haunts my memories
