“You might have made me your Pack member tonight…” Tabitha’s voice cracked with tears that glittered like pearls as she stood before me in her room, “But I’ll make sure you never get what you want. Whatever nonsense you and Ezra are cooking up? I don’t believe a word!”
My palms clenched as a whirlpool of rage swirled deep in my belly. It is just s*x! If anything, she should be happy that the solution is not something worse than that! I won’t let her ruin my chances of being cured.
