[ Penthouse suite ] "Hello, Dominic, what taken you so long to get here?" A man said, sitting in the corner of the room, his eyes fixed on Evelyn as he continued the call. Dominic voice was a low rumble as he answered. His response was a venomous snarl. "Screw you! You dig yourself into a hole, and now you're expecting me to pull you out? Think again. I'll send someone to mop up your mess. Just get out of there!" Evelyn's, eyelids fluttered open, her gaze unfocused. As her vision cleared, she saw a man figure standing nearby. Her eyes widened slightly, and she quickly shut them to avoid being notice by the unknown man standing nearby, she pretended to be asleep. The figure didn't seem to notice, and after a moment, he turned and walked away. Once he went out of sight, Evelyn eyes snapped opened again, her mind racing with questions. Where was she? Who was that person? And how did she end up here? Panic set as she realized she was partially undressed, wearing only her bra and underwear, she looked down her eyes ready to pump out tears, she said wickedly. "Am I being r***d?" Just a moment later, a lady worked in with a lovely gown, her smile radiant as she greeted Evelyn. "Hello, how're you feeling?" She asked her voice warm and gentle. Evelyn's eyes narrowed, still trying to process the situation. "How am I supposed to feel?" She shout back her voice laced with emotion. "I wake up half naked, and you're asking me how I'm feeling?" "Was I being r***d?" Evelyn voice was barely a whisper as she said. The lady cut her off with a soft smile, brushing a strand of hair behind Evelyn ear. "No darling, you just had a night with a man, that's all." Her heart skipped to beat."What?" The word echoed in her heard. The stared blank, trying to piece together a memory that wasn't there. "No.... that can't be right," she whispered more to her self than anyone else. Her voice trembling with the weight of something she didn't want to belief. "There's no need to worry dear," the lady voice echo through the air. "he's just one of the wealthy man in the the country who paid to sleep with woman. Like I just said earlier, there's no need to worry." She reached over to the nightstand and set down a white envelope, it's crisp edges catching the morning light. "This is for you." Evelyn stared past it, her eyes unfocused. She sat up slowly, the silk sheets slipping from her shoulders. "Where... where am I?" "Penthouse suite," the woman answered, her tone almost cheerful. "One of the finest in the city." "Can i asked one more favour?" "Any thing please," the woman replied, a slow smile curls her face. "Just for a minute-can I borrow your phone?" Evelyn asked with a hopefully thought. _ _ _ [ Mr. Edward mashion ] "What taking you fools, so long to find my daughter?" Mr. Edward said, his voice laced with anger as he question he's assistant. "Mr. Edward we are trying our absolute best to find her, we even invited the corp's for the case." Mr. Edward face racing with fear, his heart beating faster as he spoke. "Keep searching," he said. Then he turned his face towards the television and saw the news: the world most famous, popular gold trader had past away yesterday morning- the richest man in the country. Just a minute after listening to the news, his phone buzzed with an incoming call from his office. He stretch out to see who it was, and answered. "Hello Liam, how are you doing." "Not fine sir, there's a huge problem." His voice trembled. "A mysterious woman and he's son just came in, they were claiming the boss of us, they said you just hand over the company to them," Liam narrated. Mr. Edward hesitated for a moment before responding, he's eyes roll slowly as he said. "I will be there in a minute." - - - Harper paced back and forth in her room, her eyes scanning the street frantically through her window. Every few seconds she glanced at her phone, willing it to buzz with a message that never came, Just a minute after her prayer was finally answered, her phone buzzed. It was a message from Evelyn: 'please, I'm sorry about my disappearance. Please pick me up at the penthouse suite, second floor, room 140. I'll explain everything when you get there."' Harper text back: 'I'll be there a minute."' _ _ _ [ Apex company ] Mr. Edward stepped out of his car and was welcome by a multitude of journalist asking him questions: why did you hand over your family business to the man who was about to get married to your daughter but didn't because of some unknown reasons. Why didn't you hand over them to your daughter?" Mr. Edward didn't show respond. Instead, he was fighting with he's inner mind. "When did I hand over my company to does brats?" He walked in, visibly shocked. He made his way towards his office, where he saw his lawyer, Mrs. Luna and his son, ferdirick's. "What the meaning of this, Mrs. Luna and what is this imbecile you call a son doing in my chair?" He lips barely moved as he spoke, the words tumbling out in a staccato rhythm, each one laced with venom. "I'll pretend I didn't hear that. When you are done talking, pack your crazy stuffs and leave."ferdirick's voice rang out, firm and steady, his voice carrying across the room with out trembling. "I don't just get it, are you chasing me out of my own company?" Mr. Edward voice shaking as he said. Mrs. Luna looked at him and replied "I think so, Mr. Edward. And please be fast about that or I'll through you out my self." "Please Mr. Edward, you have to leave before they go to extra length." Mr. Mason warned." Mr. Edward eyes widened, and he took a step back, he's mind racing with questions. "Is this a joke?"
