"How cute, you want your elder brother's approval." I smiled, teasing Axel after he told me about what happened between him and Carl.
Axel pulled away from me, a cute frown on his face as he said, "It's not like that."
I rolled my eyes; I already knew what it was like, but it was more fun to pretend as though I didn't. "Looks like I'm going to have to be extra nice to Carl from now on. What am I going to do if your elder brother wants us to break up because he's not satisfied with me?" I laughed hard at the expression on Axel's face. How is it that this man took every word I said so seriously?
"We are not breaking up because of Carl; we are never breaking up." He narrowed his eyes at me.
I caress Axel's cheek, prompting him to relax and continue lying down by my side.
